Motorola Moto X4 Factory Unlocked Phone - 32GB - 5.2" - Super Black - PA8S0006USI have had many Motorola phones, lately a 2014 Moto-X.
The biggest surprise was the battery life. I never had a phone that would run all day, I usually had to recharge my old phone some time between coming home from work and dinner time. With the Moto-X4, I never went to bed with less than 45% battery, and that was on a busy day with a couple hours of Google Maps navigation. Usually it's around 70% battery left by bedtime. You do not have to be very careful to get two work days out of a charge. I have not even turned on battery saver yet. It is probably the weakest point of the phone. The bright colors tend to wash out a little. But it is very bright, very sharp and has a wide view angle with very little color shifting when you are off-angle, so it is probably an 8 out of 10. Finally, the phone was upgraded to Android 9 in mid-January, a week or so after the operating system was released. Overall I am extremely pleased. At the price, I may buy a second one for backup, and that will still be much less than half the price a Pixel 3...

I am in infrequent cell phone user. Only the basics. I bought this dinosaur to repleace an identical one. SO I could use my chargers and there would be no "learning curve" for me. No aurprises.
