Brand new factory sealed dvd is Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and no longer being manufactured. Many of the scenes and effects in this film are excellant and surprising! Roscoe Lee Brown is the narrator. Isa Andersen stars as Lilith, a winged female demon who rises from the earth and goes about killing off the male staff of a hip fashion magazine, 'Siren'. In her sexy human form she has black hair, nails, and (sometimes) lips. Karen Black as Rita, an editor who is seduced into worshiping the demon, mainly seems to want to be a cover girl. The gorgeous Debra Feuer is Kristie, Rita's sister from Milwaukee. There's a great Hell sequence, an old black lady in a yellow cab who's a Van Helsing type ("She is Satan's whore!"), Cronenberg-inspired sex zombies in the office (turned on by photos!), hearts ripped out, photos that come to life, good dreams, and plenty of nudity and sex. Some of the music is by Barrence Whitfield and the Savages, and there's a great new song by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, "Sirens Burning". The Swiss born director also made 'After Darkness' (1985), with Julian Sands, and 'Halloween 5'.
