Vintage Bell System telephone handset - and 50 similar items

Local (Phoenix area) visitors, please see below!** I just think this vintage telephone handset is super cool, but I have no use for it. Excavated from my late grandfather's workshop, it is from system (made by Western Electric) and marked "F 1"; I do not know exactly how old it is. I strongly believe it's made from Bakelite, but I am no expert on that, either. There are some minor scrapes and scuff marks on it, the cord is cut at the end, and also the cord is frayed or chewed or whatever up near the handset itself. There's some dust left too, I'm sure, since I only wiped it down with a damp cloth (so be prepared for maybe a little cleanup, depending on what you want to do with it). I don't think it can be used in a functional way, but it is still very cool looking for some kind of display in a vintage decor setting. I also think it would make a great prop if anyone has a use for it in that regard. Asking $5.00 obo.
