Cameo itself is 1" across x 1-1/2" long. Clasp pin glued on back vertically. A lovely unusually romantic theme of a man courting a woman by playing the mandolin. The lady has a bird in her palm, upraised. Good detail, from the dated costuming of the couple to the draping of her gown, the texture of the tree and even the grass underfoot.
