Catalog Number: CAS-2428 Condition Details: Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened). Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and slight discoloration along opening edge (front/back) where shrink is at its edge. Inner-sleeve is original (pickwick logo); one seam partially split. Spine is unbroken, clean and easy-to-read. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; right side corners show mild wear. Opening is crisp with signs of use and a few divots. 1985 pressing. (Not a cut-out.) The original Elvis' Christmas Album was out of print by the late 1960s. Interest in the album prompted RCA to re-release it in an altered version on its RCA Camden label in the 1970s. This version eliminated four tracks from the original and added the 1966 holiday single If Every Day Was Like Christmas, along with the 1970 non-seasonal B-side Mama Liked the Roses, issued as the flip to Elvis' top ten single The Wonder of You. The religious and secular Christmas songs were mixed. The cover of this revised version used a more recent mid-60s vintage photograph with Elvis wearing a blue racing jacket with two stripes (from the set of the 1967 movie Speedway). It featured Elvis' face in a circle in the middle surrounded in white with red ribbons with holly underneath with a blue background.
