This bracelet design was inspired by a swatch of fabric I recently came across. The bold print reminds me of 1960s fashion, with its fun, playful designs. In keeping with the fun forms, I chose beads in shiny dark purple, a pink bead mix, & white.

The bracelet is designed & hand-woven (by me) using a technique called 2-drop peyote stitch. Nearly 2,000 small beads were woven, 2 at a time, to create this bracelet. The resulting bracelet is supple, with a fabric-like drape. It measures 1" (2.5cm) wide & 7" (17.8cm) long, including the silver-tone tube slide clasp.
