Wonderful embossed panels of Single Center Woman, 2 side panels each showing a Woman and Man (right side)

and on the left is a Woman at a front door

Judging by the clothes, these could be older than what we call the Victorian period and could have come across

to America at an earlier date

I could not see letting this old type of art going into a landfill somewhere so made an offer and was able to purchase it from an estate sale

The top and bottom & back panel have a leather type look

The front and sides have a burnished gold look - internally there is pasted watered looking printed liner

The top hinge is breaking down

Even if one was to remove the top and frame it, it would be an outstanding piece of ephemera or a great addition

to a collector of printed items from the past

In my opinion, it is worth definitely salvaging but I am not the one to do it due to moving
