Hand crochet light yellow baby sweater is handmade and looks like it has never been worn.  There are 5 holes that have been left open to put ribbons or to sew buttons on the front.  

Measurements are: 8 1/2" across from underarm to underarm. 8" from the top of the neck to the edge at the bottom...the bottom has a circular shape so the sweater is going to be longer in the back. Sleeves are 3 1/2" from the underarm to the edge of the sleeve.

The cap or bonnet measures 6 1/4 inches from the middle of the top to the bottom x 4 inches wide.  The crochet yarn draw strings are looped through the piece near the bottom and can be adjusted to fit easily.

This piece was made by my mother back in the early 80's.  Us girls found it when we went to settle her estate when she passed away.  That's why I mentioned  it was neve used as he still had it at her apartment.  

I looked the sweater and cap/bonnet over very close and can not see any holes or rips.  The yarn is very soft and looks cuddly.
