This is an unusual figural brooch or pin that features 5 comical dogs standing in a row. They have their arms around each other and are full of personality. They are stick figures with long droopy and floppy ears and remind me of hound dogs of some type. They could be Basset Hounds, Blood Hounds or even Dachshunds. The pin measures approximately 1 ¾ inches across and is just over 1 ½ inches tall.
This is in great vintage condition with a wonderful older patina that has taken on various shades of gold that accents the details. I have taken many pictures and enlarged them so you can see the condition and details for yourself. I have not polished it, I will leave that up to you. There is a little bit of tarnish on the pin section. It has a rollover clasp. The clasp is nice and secure, but when open the pin has a little bit of a wobble to it.
This would be a fun pin for any animal lover. Great for a dog breeder, your favorite Veterinarian, or any hound dog fan. This would be a wonderful brooch to wear to the next dog show you attend.
