I believe that this jar had a prince Matchabelli product in it when purchased.  I think it may have been powder.  It is a very nice trinket jar for hair accessories or safety pins.  It is nearly 3 inches tall and about 4 inches in diameter at its widest point.  I had it on my vanity to toss my jewelry in at the end of the day.
