Offered for sale is a wooden box that was used by Breakstone to ship its Brinza Cheese. I understand Brinza was used for many years in eastern Europe and was primarily used in cooking. I also understand from some research that when a recipe called for Brinza a satisfactory substitute was Feta. I also understand that it was not unusual for Brinza to be shipped in a block form. This box has a brick coloration to it and has some damage. there is a piece missing near the top and there is a small wedge missing from the bottom although the color is the same on the bottom so I was thinking that it was built that way. It is 12 inches long and about 4 inches wide. It is almost 4 inches tall. I must say I have never heard of this cheese.
