Now you can do scroll saw cutting on a standard band saw by using these special guide blocks and the 1/16" scroll cutting saw blade. As shown in the diagram below, the blade is held between the guide blocks, instead of trying to grip the back edge of the blade as with standard metal guide blocks. Designed to replace the metal guide blocks commonly used on band saws, these blocks are self-lubricating and can be run with zero clearance on the blade. These guide blocks are completely non-abrasive so that they will not dull the bandsaw blade or disturb the set even when they are in direct contact with the teeth. SuperCut Bladesaver Guide Blocks are also very beneficial for use on wider blades because they can be run with zero clearance against the blade without having to leave a gap between the block and the blade as with conventional steel blocks. This provides better support for the blade, allowing for a much straighter cut. These guide blocks are available to fit most bandsaws such as the various imports, Delta, Shopsmith, Craftsman , Walker-Turner, etc. SuperCut Bladesaver Guide Blocks are packaged as a complete set of 4 blocks (2 upper and 2 lower) per package. There are completed instructions on each package for fast and simple instructions.
