After 50 years of war between Europe and Asia, the land and people are failing quick, thanks to radiation, pollution, and man-made diseases. A doctor believes that he may have a revolutionary treatment that can save humanity, but ends up creating a race of superhuman mutants instead.

They waste no time in reviving a robot army to go out and take over the world. In desperation the doc uses the same treatment to resurrect his dead son, and sends him out alone to stop them.

This is one of only a handful of films made in the 2000s that was shot with 'green screen' sets and the backgrounds were dropped in digitaly later for an amazing look. Similar to 'Sin City', 'Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow', etc. in its technical use.
