Pre-viewed for quality and played fine, is letterboxed widescreen so looks best in zoom mode on newer televisions. Recorded in the superior SP mode by Goodtimes, which is highly unusual for this label.
Haunted by his daughters death, Jux Jonas (Mike Norris) is on a mission of mercy with lifelong friends Oren Ames (Carey Scott) and Conrad Champlain (David White) when they crash-land deep in the Texas desert. A bell draws them to Ceres, a bizarre town where the inhabitants behave strangely, and the only contact with the outside world is a short-wave radio owned by a mysterious local rancher, Matthew (Chuck Norris).
Controlled by an immortal being, Joshua Ravel (Marshall Teague), the towspeople plot to fulfill an ancient prophecy of sacrifice, and the three friends--armed only with their faith--face evil itself to save the innocents.
Unusual religous themes that gets a little preachy at times, but it does have some ok special effects when the demons manifest themselves near the end.
