Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the classic 1980's dance-themed musical drama/romance, FLASHDANCE, released in 1983 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Adrian Lyne, in which a Pittsburgh woman (Jennifer Beals) with two jobs as a welder and an exotic dancer wants to get into ballet school. The cast includes Michael Nouri, Lilia Skala, Sunny Johnson, Kyle T. Heffner, and Lee Ving.

The image is one of the more popular and recognizable movie poster images from the 1980's and depicts a shot of welder and exotic dancer-turned ballet dancer Alex Owens (Jennifer Beals) looking at the viewer and wearing (supposedly) only an artistically-cut gray sweatshirt with red pumps. Unrestored and rolled as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet is in very fine- condition with some small scattered creases from handling over time and light signs of wear on the bottom right corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.

The film's famous song, Flashdance...What a Feeling, won the Academy Award for "Best Music, Original Song," for Giorgio Moroder Keith Forsey, and Irene Cara.
