This piggy bank, a 1st NATIONAL BANK souvenir is marked such on the bottom.  It also says OPEN HOUSE.  On the piggy's shirt on the front are the words:  ALWAYS FIRST 1863-1959.  I am not sure who manufactured this bank but it does look like it was made by the "Spalding China Company of Sebring, Ohio.  If so, then it is a Royal Copley. The bank has Royal Copley characteristics such as the split found on the 'feet'.  The other interesting thing about this bank is that it is 'painted' on only half of the bank (the back is unpainted).  But the entire bank is glazed.  The coloring on this bank is wonderful and the innocent and happy facial expression along with the eyebrows is perfect!  The condition of the bank is very good with the exception of the hole on the bottom which is chipped.  Nevertheless, this is a lovely piggy bank.

The measurements are:  7 1/2 inches tall,  4 1/2 inches wide,  4 inches deep.
