THE ANATOLIAN

BY ELIA KAZAN

HARDBACK & DUST JACKET IN REMOVABLE MYLAR.  DECKLE EDGE PAGES.

By Knopf, 1982.  436 pages.

STATED FIRST EDITION.

The hardcover book is in Very Good condition.  Please see the pictures provided for a general sense of the condition on the book.

The book has no remainder mark, internal markings or previous owner’s name.

The book has no unpleasant odor.

The pages of the book are quite clean and new.

The bottom pages edges of the first few pages of the book have very faint undulations, perhaps the result of brief exposure to a damp surface.  These undulations are very minor and do not significantly detract from the quality of the book.

The outside page edges of the book are clean and free of soiling and foxing.  As stated, the book does not have a publisher’s remainder mark, and the outer page edges are decorative Deckle edged.

The boards and the binding are also in good condition, with the exception of a deficiency on the front board, bottom cover.  A small area of the board was apparently mashed.  Please see the pictures provided.

The dust jacket is in Very Good or better condition.  It has no tears, rips or chips – no notable flaws.  The jacket is encased in a removable mylar protective cover.  It is not taped to the boards.  The jacket has not been damaged in any way by its application.

The dust jacket shows little to no shelf wear under the cover.

The jacket has not been clipped – it is clean and is fully intact.

The jacket has no stickers or any sticker residue.

This is a nice clean first edition in removable Mylar with only minor deficiencies.
