This is an early 1970s needlework bag which was intended for knitting or crochet but could be used for sewing or needlework projects of any kind. I got this bag at Nordstrom in downtown Seattle when I took a needlepoint class there. The bag is constructed like a large envelope. The outside is a woven cotton or blend print. The inside is a soft denim-like fabric with wide grosgrain trim and loops. Inside is a pocket for scissors with a hook and loop closure at the top and felt needle holder inside. The bag rolls up and ties with an attached cord. SIZE: This bag is 21" by 14" when measured flat.
