A Chaucer Handbook - R.D. French - 1927 First Edition - VGC - Hard Cover Book

You are bidding on this nice vintage First Edition Hard Cover Copy of A Chaucer Handbook, by R. D. French.  The book is a first edition, however, I am unsure if it is a first printing.  It is in very good condition, particularly for its age.  It does have some light wear at the corners and edges, and some hand written notations and underlined passages throughout the book.  The spine and binding are good, although loosening, and all 394 pages including index are intact and in good condition.  They are a little yellowed with age.  This is a nice book, and a great little study guide into the history of English Literature.
