You are bidding on this vintage Church of the Flowers, Glendale, CA postcard. It is used postally, has a stamp and postmark of 1956, and is in very good condition, with only some yellowing from age and slight wear at the edges and corners. It is 3.5" by 5.5" standard postcard, and is a photo card. The caption on the back reads;

The Little Church of the Flowers is the re-creation in America of the romantic church at Stoke Poges, England, where Thomas Gray wrote his ever-loved "Elegy" in 1751. To thousands it is a shrine of love and sacred memories, forming a beautiful link with Old World traditions. Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, CA.
