Beautiful, vintage oval gold tone dimensional brooch signed CONTINENTAl made in Canada circa 1960s.
The booch has a huge, oval cabochon milk glass stone in the center, srurrounded by gold tone leafs/flowers accented with with white enamel.
Dimensions: 1 3/8” x 1 ¾” at the widest point.
Condition is very good no fleabites , some normal age wear to the white enamel. The brooch has a secure roll-over pin clasp and signed CONTINENTAL in a circe.

1940s - 1977. Founded by Sol Mayoff and Sam Baker. Montreal Canada~ Well thought of company that produced high quality rhinestone pieces. Their pieces are often compared to the greats such as Sherman, They became one of Canada's largest manufacturers. The company was sold to a Far East interest in 1977.
