Vintage original 27x41 in. "international style" one-sheet poster from the popular 1980's action/adventure fantasy drama, WILLOW, released in 1988 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Ron Howard. Based upon a story by George Lucas, Val Kilmer stars as a young farmer who is chosen to undertake a perilous journey in order to protect a special baby from an evil queen. The cast also includes Joanne Whalley, Warwick Davis, Billy Barty, and Jean Marsh.

This beautiful one-sheet poster, which was designed by the renowned movie poster artist, John Alvin, was issued for the film's release outside of the U.S. ("international" style) and features artwork of the film's main characters on their journey. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, it it in very fine- condition with two small creases on the bottom left corner and three on the bottom right corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the beautiful color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.

George Lucas specifically wrote this film for Warwick Davis after meeting him on the set of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983). Lucas was only 17 at the time this film was made. In preparation for the movie, Davis had to learn a modified accent, how to take care of a baby, how to ride a horse, how to sword fight, and how to perform magic.
