The Plague Dogs, an animated adaptation of Richard Adams' (Watership Down) novel, by the same animation studio that animated Watership.  Two labratory dogs, Snitter and Rowf, escape the facility where they are being cruelly experimented on, causing panic in rural and small-town England when it's revealed they may have been exposed to bubonic plague.  Heavy subject matter, definitely not a kids' movie, but very good.  The DVD is out of print in North America and a bit hard to find.  Like new condition.
