Medium to large evergreen tree, pyramidal when young becomes rounded with age. Orange Peeling Bark. Great for ornamental landscape tree, windbreaker, wildlife and Christmas Trees or Bonsai. Cold hardy in USDA zones 3 - 8. Prefers well draining soils, but will tolerate drier sites, but does not tolerate standing water. Grows to 50 foot tall and 30 foot wide. Prefers full sun.
