GOTHAM
A HISTORY OF NEW YORK CITY TO 1898
PULITZER PRIZE WINNER FOR HISTORY, 1999
BY EDWIN G. BURROWNS AND MIKE WALLACE
LIKE NEW SOFTCOVER, PUBLISHED BY OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS, 1999. 1,383 PAGES.
This very large softcover book is in Like New condition and is likely unread. It really had not material flaw, just minor cosmetic defects. It is not an ex-library book.
The book has no remainder mark, no internal markings or highlighting, no previous ownership marks, and no unpleasant odor. It is Like New in all respects.
The pages are clean, bright and mark free.
The outer spine panel of the covers show no evidence that the book has ever been read or fully opened.
The outer corners of the front and rear covers exhibit light shelf wear causing a minor flare out and very light fraying of the corners (of the front panel of the cover in particular). Please see the pictures provided.
Otherwise, the front, spine and rear covers are in great condition, showing little to no soiling and shelf wear.
The outer fore edge and bottom page edges have very minor soiling/discolorations - one light spot on the bottom and one small area on the lower fore edge. Please see the pictures provided.
