This hardcover book has a previous owner's name/bookplate inside the front cover. 

The binding, once loose, has been repaired - while the binding is now secure it still shows evidence of former damage. 

The book's pager are mark free.  The pages are of heavy paper.

The top page edges have a decorative gilt top stain.

The outer page edges show uniform soiling.

The bottom page edges have been marked (pictured).

The book has a decorative onion skin covering on the title page.
