Up for bid is a beautiful handmade and originally designed (by me) anorexia support bracelet called "Fragility". Using czech glass seed beads, I design this bracelet to represent the sufferer's mental and physical state and placed a focal dragonfly bead, a seemingly vulnerable creature that is truly quick, swift, and untouchable, as a symbol of strength. This bracelet is not made to beautify the disorder. Strung on tiger tail beading wire, the "Fragility" bracelet is very durable yet still flexible. Available in red or pink (!!) with .925 sterling silver metal, including the dragonfly beads. Please specify color of choice when submitting payment. The standard length is approximately 6.75 inches (give or take .25 inches), but I'll be happy to re-size the bracelet down or up to 8 inches without charge.  Just be sure to note your desired length with your payment.  For these same bracelets in plated silver, please see my booth.

Note: This is not intended to be used as pro-anorexia paraphernalia. It is simply made to help a sufferer cope by knowing that there are other sufferers too. To my knowledge, this was the original idea of the red bracelet; somehow, it has warped into a self-destructive icon throughout the years following its inception. My goal is to re-establish the original purpose of the red bracelet. To prevent abuse of this bracelet, I do reserve the right to cancel bids or refuse business to anyone who communicates or suggests misuse.
