Metro is effective against both internal and external infections of gram-positive bacteria and some parasitic infections. It has long been used for Hexamita (Hole-In-Head Disease), freshwater and saltwater Ich, Fin-Rot, Bloat and many other aquarium illnesses..  
When used for internal bacterial infections, it should be mixed with food. 
Metro should be used in a quarantine tank if possible as some species may not be tolerant of its use.

Directions:
1. Remove all activated carbon from aquarium.
2. Do a routine 20-30% water change of the tank.
3. Measure 1 gram per 30 gallons to be treated (~1/4 teaspoon per 30 gallons). 
4. Dissolve dosage in 1 cup of aquarium water and add to tank.   
5. Wait 1-2 days, perform another 20-30% water change and re-dose the metro.
6. Repeat step 5 for a total of 5 treatments.
