Vintage original 9x12 in. piece of sheet music from the lost 1920's Viennese All-Singing Dancing Talking musical, MARRIED IN HOLLYWOOD, released in 1929 by the Fox Film Corporation and directed by Marcel Silver. Consisting of 6 pages, the front cover features a photographic scene from the film as "King" J. Harold Murray dips his "Queen," Norma Terris, while a group of military officers and beautiful women sing and dance around them. The song is entitled "Dance the Night Away" with music by Oscar Straus and additional music by Dave Stamper, Arthur Kay, and Harlan Thompson.
It is in very fine- condition with a prior owner's name handwritten in blue ink on the front cover and a price of $45- handwritten in pencil in the top right corner. There is a 1.75 in .vertical crease just beneath the "H" in "Hollywood." There are no tears, stains, or other flaws.
Though this is a lost film (no complete prints are known to exist), a 12-minute fragment from the final color reel is held by the UCLA Film & Television Archive.
