Hohokam Park was the location for the Cubs spring training before the new park where they now play was built. Ron was in the announcer's booth and would sign articles prior to the start of the game. You just had to stand in line and wait your turn. You would pass the article you wanted signed to Ron through the window of the announcer's booth. He was most friendly, taking the time to chat for a few minutes.
