Everywhere you look online will will find conflcting information regarding which connector goes to your vehicle.  Even Ford doesn't have the compatibility information complete and consistent. 

The best and easiest way is to remove your connector and check the color of the terminal wedge in the front.  If it's red...this is it.  If it's yellow, it is the other one that looks identical.  They are not interchageable as the wire teminals themselves are different sizes.  I have both connectors available and they are the same price.  They are GENUINE.

Includes ALL NEW COMPONENTS:

*You will want to reuse your origial factory wiring to maintain consistency with wire identification.  Avoid using the generic white or black wires provided with aftermarket cheap replacement connectors, they are not 100% copper.  They are at best copper clad aluminum.

• Contact Resistance: 10 milliohms max.


• Dielectric Withstanding Voltage: 500V DC


• Insulation Resistance: 20 Megohms min.

NO SPECIAL TOOLS NEEDED: Since you are replacing your broken connectors, feel free to break them apart....you have new ones.  Do be careful not to damage, crush or otherwise deform the wire terminals.  You can use a toothpick, straight pen or similar devise to release the wire terminal and wire. 

1. From the front of the connector pull out the terminal wedge (the red part). They usually break.   2. From the front of the connector, insert your chosen tool to push the terminal retainer down to release the wire from the housing.  

Ford does manufacture frames, engines, body panels and even their own glass. Just like Ford does not manufacture mufflers, shocks, brake calipers or wheels; Ford does not manufacture electrical connectors. Ford uses an outside vendor. These connectors are manufactured by Ford's approved vendor and packaged as Ford Motorcraft service parts.
