In crafting this leather bag I selected turquoise colored deer skin and an shell cabochon. The bag measures 2 1/2" by 3" plus 3 1/2" fringe for an overall length of 7 1/2". These scanned images appear blue don't reflect the true turquoise color of the leather.
Bags of various construction have long been used to contain items special to the wearer including the American Indian Medicine Bag, the Celtic Crane Bag, the African-American Hoodoo Bag and so forth.
The wearer is encouraged to personalize the bag by adding small items, which have special significance to him/her.
