This stunning center piece bowl was created in France in the late 19th century. It is fashioned after 18th-Century wares, produced by the prestigious Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory. Typical of such items, this center piece is designed in an elegant Rococo manner. The center piece features a wide porcelain bowl, the rim of which is edged with gilt bronze.. The bowl is mounted with two handles. Decorating the front of the bowl is an image of three beautiful young women and a young boy in an outdoor setting. The bowl’s reverse features a a leafy design set against a white ground. The bowl sits on top of a young naked baby boy who stands on a short pedestal. It looks like the boy is carrying the bowl on his shoulders.

It is a masterpiece to put as a center piece in any household.
