Lysimachia Clethroides

Vigorous and easy, these bushy, spreading perennials

Produce flower spikes shaped like a goose’s neck.  The leafy, dense clumps are effective as a low background, and the white flowers are an attractive addition to the late summer border.

The individual flowers are minute and grouped in dense spikes 6-8 inches long.  The spikes are conical, relaxed, and bent at the ends into a graceful, S shaped curve.  They bloom in July and August

This plant is an aggressive spreader

The plant has a bushy appearance and can grow up to 3 feet high.

Can be grown in full sun or partial shade.  Butterflies love this plant.
