From the start, it pulls you right into a world where mental and emotional decay may as well rule supreme. It continues on with what seems to be a path of self-destruction with dark and heavy riffs twisting and entwining every which way. Then shatters your brain in an industrial version of Chinese water torture. Just when you think you can't handle anymore, it takes you from that torture chamber and tends to your everbleeding brain, with light and subtle undertones of your subconscious falling into a nightmare that's about ready to start. When you come to, logic passes it off as a mere dream, until you look into the mirror and see a dimented version of what used to be your mind."

Deflore sounds like anything but your standard industrial rock band. At times Christian Ceccarelli´s guitar work seems to be channeling Knut's "Terroformer" while Emiliano Di Lodovico´s bass work avoids the normal stale tones typical of this genre, opting for a more metal inspired approach. At surface level these two Italians rub shoulders with bands such as Knut and industrial metal gods, Godflesh. Go listen to Knut´s remix album “Altar”. You´ll receive a similar experience. Also, it is worthwhile noting that Deflore´s drums don´t sound overtly electronic. In fact, they mix electronic and acoustic drums, culling the best from both worlds. “Human Indu[B]strial” is only their first release..."
