Dairy Goat, Ashley
Is Not For Sale!
And thou shalt have goat's milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens. Proverbs 27:27

Description:

We just love our milk goat, Ashley. We've had her for several years and would not dream of parting with her (or her family)!

Not only does she faithfully give us milk every day, she's also given us wonderful kids!

  • 2008 Freshening
    • Our new herd sire Sir Cameron ("Cam") along with his twin sister,
    • Lady Samantha ("Sam"). If you're Stargate SG1 fans, you'll recognize the names Sam & Cam...
  • 2009 Freshening
    • Lady Janet, a very sweet little doeling, along with her twin;
    • Sir Jack, who was a very healthy buckling. Some neighbor children came to visit and hugged him very very tightly - he died within 48 hours of their visit. We learned to be more careful of visits after this.
    • And indirectly, by Alice, their half sister Aiyana and her half brother, Daniel (banded to become the wether of the year). You might be able to see all of them in one of the pictures.
  • and 12/31/2009 - New Year's Eve... a surprise kidding:
    • Sir Trip, a very sweet little buckling.
