Description

This is an elegant and graceful vintage 1960's two piece dress with beaded and fringed go go-style top with sheer sleeves, and a swirly flowy chiffon skirt.
Wedgwood blue.
It looks like it was made for dancing - the skirt is full with a lot of floaty movement.
I believe it was a custom-made outfit. It has a Hong Kong tailor's label.
No size markings - probably a small to small-waisted medium. Please check measurements given to best predict fit.
THE TOP
is a sweater knit, completely encrusted with beads, sequins and beaded fringe.
70% lambswool, 20% angora, 10% nylon.
Boat neck.
Long puffed sheer sleeves with snap cuffs. Cuffs trimmed with three pearl bead "buttons."
The bodice is lined with what appears to be acetate. The sleeves are unlined.
Metal separating back zipper with hook and eye.
Shoulder pads.
THE SKIRT
is a full bias circle skirt, gathered onto a waistband.
Polyester chiffon lined with matching blue satin.
Waistband closes with a trouser hook and large snap. Side opening closes with snaps.
In excellent vintage condition. I see no stains, spots, tears, holes, or missing beads. Really well preserved.
Clean and ready to wear.
From a smoke-free home.
