In addition to being a travel book, this chronicles big game hunters (like Teddy Roosevelt himself), as they were in the 1920s. The principal game they hunt is tigers, which were not considered endangered in those days. There are eight sections, variously authored by Teddy's wife, their son and his wife and her brother. The volume is illustrated with 20 black & white photos. The cover corners are lightly bumped, light spine end wear, an edge bump which has caused a slight tear; there are a couple of back cover spots and the spine is somewhat faded. Secure binding with intact hinges. The pages are toned but otherwise nice; a very light erasure on the ffep, o/w no writing; a bit of soiling on the page fore-edges. No dust jacket. Overall, quite a decent copy of this 85-year-old book.
