Any observations about the book, below, have been included as examples in the picture gallery.
- 142 pages
- Ex-Libris sticker inside cover, Andre Smith.
- Published by Editions de L'Oiseau-Lyre, Paris, (France)
- Numbered, 95 and dated 1939 edition
- Hardback
- Linen-bound, light brown, with inset deep red titling and lyrebird detailing.
- 250mm x 320mm format, approx.
- A very good reading and reference copy
- Binding intact, light wear at the top of page 8, otherwise all string binding is firm.
- No creases
- Small bumps / scuffs and light wear to cover, a small area of foxing at the outer edges, front and rear, as per age.
- Pages yellowed, but in very good condition, minimal signs of light reading / shelf and storage wear.
- Please note that some of the pages have pencil notations where the previous owner made comments about the pieces - none of the vital text or musical notation has been affected at all - these appear to be in pencil, and if you really can't live with them a reliable Staedtler pencil eraser would undoubtedly remove them for your sight...
- Pictures uploaded, various views. No library / 'stock' photos used, I've actually got the item, and what you see is what you get...
Interesting item, rare as rare can be and definitely one for the collectors and enthusiasts...
