Jack Bigelow is a high income radiologist living in Annapolis. His wife Franny has ennui. The kids are gone, Franny's home is boring and so is her husband. A marriage counselor tells her to take up tennis and she quickly becomes a tennis addict. In self defense Jack himself take up the game, aided by a tennis pro who sports a gold earring and by Lily Page, a young mother with lithe movements. Soon the game is mixed singles, with results that are funny and sad. (#0000178)
