1960s - 1970s

This is a great lot of vintage plastic necklaces. I think one of them may be glass or Lucite, but I'm not positive about that. This was my Mom's favorite color and she wore them with several spring and summer outfits. These are most likely from the 1960s and 1970s. I have described them below as best I can. Please look at the enlarged pictures for more detail. The necklaces are all yellow, from a pale light yellow to a dark yellow, and one with a touch of orange on the flower.

  1. Glass yellow and white necklace with gold tone spacers. Beads are various shapes, round, triangular, barrel, and flat. Approximately 18 inches long. These are either Lucite or glass.

  2. Yellow and white necklace – 7 large center white beads with yellow end caps on each bead. Each capped section is 1 inch long and the large white beads are about 3/4 of an inch wide. There are 10 white beads on each side of the center series. Has a silver barrel screw closure. All plastic beads. Approximately 19 inches long.

  3. Yellow bead necklace with yellow and orange flower at the base. Flower is almost 2 inches in diameter and mounted on a silver toned backing. Necklace is approximately 25 inches long.

  4. Pale yellow bead necklace. Approximately 30 inches long.

  5. Long bright yellow beads – Approximately 60 inches long.

  6. Golden yellow beads – Approximately 30 inches long

  7. Golden yellow beads – Identical to set above but 24 inches long.

These are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. They may need some spot cleaning on individual beads, but they are ready to wear. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This is a perfect group of necklaces to accessorize your summer wardrobe. You can wear one or group several together.
