The Robert Sabuda books are so amazing with pop up pages. He is truly a paper engineer and an artist. I am buying each one of my gransons a different one of his books as an extra Christmas present. They will love them. You owe it to yourself to check out this amazing man's work!!!!

I love this book because it truly takes you back to your childhood. My mom used to read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to me on Christmas Eve and now that I have a little girl of my own, I am able to read it to her and the Subuda pop ups are phenomenal! They are so magical that they really bring the story to life. Who needs tv when you have books like this:-)

I love this poem so I have read it to all my grandchildren when they were little.
When I saw it in pop-up form I had to have it. My younger grandchildren will be in for a treat this Christmas!

I love the intricate way the author/artist has captured the spirit of the story in a interactive popup story. He does it with flair and creativity keeping the story intact without changing it. Robert Sabuda is amazing and his work will remain a legacy for all to enjoy for future enjoyment for years to come.

This is a BEAUTIFUL pop-up book!!!! I couldn't get over the quality of the workmanship. The pop-ups are gorgeous and well done!!

I love the book and my 28 month old grandson really enjoys it when we go through it together. It is a very well put together book and I credit the person that came out with this learning experience. Again thank you and I'm sure I'll be back.

The illustrations in this book are incredible. I would recommend this to anyone. I am shopping early for Christmas but I think I will order another one, keeping this one for a collection piece.

This is a fabulous book. To call it "pop up" would be putting it lightly for this is an incredible work of art. The pages for each of the 12 Days of Christmas literally pop up and out of the framework of the book with the most intricate detail you could even imagine. Being a collector of the 12 Days and partridges, I could not resist the first edition of this book, but to have the celebration edition is something else. The book literally comes alive for the reader. And making it extra special, it is dedicated to a long time friend of the community in which we lived for 26 years, Midland, Michigan. Nancy LaMott, a cabaret singer died of ovarian cancer long before her time and was a good friend of Robert Sabuda.

If you're not familiar with Robert Sabuda's work, you should be. His beautiful, intricate pop up books are absolutely enchanting to look at. The books are all well-made and allow for the bulk of the pop-ups inside, and they are great collector's books. That being said, I should also state that these are not pop-up books for children. They're really for adults, and perhaps children can look on and share the story. However, they are far to fragile to be handled by small children independently. Another drawback is the expense--Sabuda's books run over $25, all the way up to about $50. Enjoying a Sabuda book with a child is a real treat. They're great for grandma's house or special occasions.

Anything Robert Sabuda does is wonderful, and this book is no exception. I don't think the books are made for children, necessarily, but to share with children and grandchildren. A mystical way to spend time with the young folks.

Amazing talent and very intricate popup. Robert Sabuda has a great website that he offers many different patterns for anyone learning Popup art. This book is just another of his great creations. It would make a great Christmas gift. I love just looking through it.

Robert Sabuda is an amazing artist when it comes to Pop-Up books! The detail is so exquisite. On this particular book however, I wish the colors had been brighter. However, I'm still excited that I now own the book!

My sister had purchased the Christmas cards and sent them this year. She mentioned regret over passing up on the book. WELL, did I jump on that gift idea - she was so surprised and said the book is more beautiful than the cards. A big hit - I will probably buy other books for her in the future.

A very wonderful book with creative illustrations. I have several of Robert Sabuda books and share them with family and friends.
