A stunning pair of Atomic Age table lamps. Ceramic with hand decorated abstract swirl designs in black, gold, & turquoise. Both have gold/gilt bases. These are in wonderful condition with the original Leviton sockets (USA) but with new 9' cords and plugs so they are ready to be used. I've had these for decades; estimate around late 1950s to mid-1960s. The shape is reminiscent of Sputnik or the Space Needle in Seattle. There is no manufacturer/designer label but there are marks on the inside so please see photo.
Dimensions:
Total height: 30.5" tall
Base: 6.5" wide at widest
Height, base to base of socket: 20"
Both original brass finials are present but are nothing special; both lamps work; both have 9’ long cords. There are no shades.
Condition: There are almost no flaws and there is absolutely nothing noticeable. There are a few teensy rough spots along the bases that can be felt but not seen. Notice the light crazing thatruns througout but none has broken through and none has broken off. We had to remove the old felt on the bottoms to rewire the lamps so you might want to replace that.
Please note: Handling time may be 2 or 3 business days for this pair. I would rather pack carefully so you will receive an intact pair of lamps. Shipping may need to be in two boxes and will come by FedEx in lower 48. I will need a street address, not a PO Box. For Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations, shipping will be by priority mail and will be substantially higher. Please send your zip and ask for quote. Gift quality.
