This was the first book to cover in detail the antique and contemporary furnishings and crafts of the "Pennsylvania Dutch" (the descendants of Germans and Swiss who immigrated to southeastern Pennsylvania).  Covered are chairs, tables, beds, chests, clocks, glass, tin, wood and much more.  163 pages, including an index and 15 full-page illustrations.  Moisture spotting on covers, but other wear  is minor, with a name written on ffep.  Some tears and chipping on spine of jacket, with general wear and modest chipping on edges and at folds.  Mild to moderate toning on pages and end papers.  Scarce 1st in dust jacket.
