For your consideration is a vintage paper mache figure.  This is one of many from an estate that I recently acquired.  This one is not marked but some are marked with Xalisco Mexico and the letters or initials of BEL and BAR I think.  These are hand made in Xalisco.  Xalisco is a town in Mexico and population in 2005 was 21,899 so it is a small town.  This figure is of an old man with a pottery on his back.  He is paper mache and attached to a painted wood base.  There is great detail in the work and very well done folk art.   He is 13" tall.  Make sure to check out the other figures I am also listing.
