Antique Real Photo Postcard, circa 1914. A marvelous studio portrait of a girl about 8 years old with her large toy doll. She is identified on the back as "Marie Z" and the photo is dated approximately 1914. This came from a collection of Zierold family photographs (all sold separately) including two other photos of Marie. See below for more details. Divided back, AZO stampbox, unused. Condition: This is an original photo postcard, not a copy or reproduction. It is in good to very good condition with some edge and corner wear and remnants of a glue stripe on back. Comments: This image originally came as part of a group lot of Zierold family photographs (all sold separately.) They include: "Uncle Kwrt, Cowrt or Kurt Zierold who served as a German Soldier during the WWI era (including two real photo postcards in uniform and a cabinet photo taken with his wife in a studio in Germany); their relatives Clara Zierold (high school style graduation portrait taken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania); and possibly Clara's sister Marie Zierold who was working in 1921 at the Westinghouse Air Brake Co. in Pittsburgh (three photos of Marie, one as a baby, one real photo postcard of her as a little girl with her doll; and a high school era graduation portrait. One provides her married name which is not decipherable, but starts with the letter "G"); and a cabinet photo of "Grandpa Zierold, Dad's Father" also taken in a Pittsburgh studio.
