These are interesting salt and pepper shakers made to look like a washer and dryer.  I think they were an advertising piece for Westinghouse because Westinghouse is written across the top of the pieces.   Detroit Models-Detroit is imprinted on the reverse.  They are three inches tall, 2 inches deep, and 2 1/2 inches across. I don't see any cracks or chips.
