There is no mention of being for decorative purpose only, and it is not marked dishwasher and/or microwave safe. It is not marked that it is not safe for food, so I think it's safe for food.
The bread or salad plate is 7-3/8" diameter. The center, where the design is, is 4-1/2" diameter.
The date stamp on the back is 28-D-10 and my research revealed that is from the 4th quarter of 1999.
This collectible plate or dinnerware replacement piece is a heavy weight material. I believe it is stoneware, but it could be ceramic. It weighs nearly 14 ounces.
Very Good Condition. There are some imperfections in the painting that I can only see with a magnifying glass, and some imperfections in the glaze on the back of the plate. There are no chips, cracks, etc. It is a beautiful piece.
Shipping may be a bit high, depending how far it needs to ship, because it weighs over a pound with a box and packing material.
