Valentine’s Day gift idea!
This is a delightful and lovely, floral design, porcelain music box from Otagiri and The San Francisco Music Box Company. 
It is oval in shape, its primary glaze is gloss white, and it is beautifully painted with delicate purple and blue flowers, a pink flowing ribbon, and pink/red roses with green leaves. The bezel around the box and lid and the hasp are a shiny gold metal. It winds and plays perfectly “Love is a Many-Splendored Thing.”
The lid is lined in a red, velvety material.

It is back stamped in gold (The picture makes it look kind of black.), signed Rosa Tavistock and Otagiri, Japan, and still has the stickers on bottom, showing that The San Francisco Music Box Co. created the musical works.

It is in near mint condition, with only slight rubbing to the red velvet around the winder.
