Goji Berries can be eaten dried as a tasty snack like cranberries or raisins. It is often used in exotic drinks in the whole world. Chinese does add the young leaves in the soups. 
Goji berries also played an important role in ancient Chinese medicine, Wolf berry has been extracted for its medical benefits for centuries, including its use in yin tonic as a medication for liver and kidney ailments. Chinese believes that you will look more younger and living more longer if you have goji berries every day.
Goji Berries have been called a super-food because it is rich in carotene, B1, B12 and vitamin C. The fruit also contains amino acids, zeaxanthin, beatine, physalia, B-ergosteriod, iron and essential trace elements for the body, including zinc, copper, selenium, calcium and phosphorus..

How to sow the goji seeds:
Mixing goji seeds with fine grain sand Sowing goji seeds  in 1cm deep in loose soil and sprinkle some fine and dry compost on the top. Then spray some water on top and leave the mixture under 20°C.  The seeds will usually start burgeoning in 7 to 10 days.The best timing for UK growers to sow seeds is from mid spring to mid summer(from April to July). Sowing outdoor after frost (best started indoor).
 

Watering seedlings regularly, but keeping soil well-drained. Don't over-water goji plants. In July and August Chinese growers will usually stop watering goji plants to keep them dry. When goji plants develop leaves, we will need to move them into pots, and place the pots in warm places. When the plant is 3 or 4 inches tall, cut the growing tip to encourage bushiness. Then in 4-6 years, they will be 10'-12' high with vines reaching to 20' in length. Nice pruning will encourage flowering and fruiting.

For the first year it is likely that some goji plants will not produce flowers and berries. This depends on sunlight. Usually goji plants will produce nice purple flowers and some fruits in the following summer. Please only expect good harvest in 4-5 years time. When you want to collect fresh goji berries, it is recommended to shake the bushes and to collect the berries using clothes but not hands, as the fresh berries will be oxidized quickly if you touch them with hands
